Kamloops Squash Association
April 2023 update
We are still looking at options for new squash courts in town, looking to rent warehouse space, or to find a location for a new facility, and we would welcome shared space with other sports and tenants. We are also looking for a good location for one or two outdoor courts. Send us an email if you would know of any space that might work, or if you would like to help in any way!
March 2021 update
We are working to bring courts back to Kamloops (it is an ongoing effort).
The courts at TRU are still unavailable for use; discussions will continue when the pandemic conditions allow for more traffic on campus. These two courts have some quirks, in that one is an older-style american squash court (narrower at 18.5') and the other is a racquetball court (easily convertible with one of the two frames we have stored), they are in the Old Gym building on campus which has had inconsistent opening hours in past years, and both have items in them which would need to be relocated for use elsewhere.
The search also continues for a location for new courts, in a warehouse or other existing building with at least 20' ceilings, or possibly a new location. Hopefully we will have an update on that progress in the near future.
January 2020 update
We will be hosting our first fundraiser at Frick and Frack Taphouse on March 8. It's a casual dinner, tickets are $20 which includes a starter salad, a burger, and fries, and there is a kids menu for children 10 and under. If you are interested, let me know at [email protected].
Thanks!
November 2019 update
The courts at No Limits have been converted to other use, and we are working on options for squash in town.
Send an email if you would like more information or if you would like to help in any way! The 2019 AGM is coming up on Dec 3, more info can be found here.

Volunteer opportunity
River City Squash is a local program working with children and youth, using the sport of squash to engage them. In addition to sport, academics and mentoring are the other main components of the program. The program partners with local schools, connecting with students in grades four to seven, with the intent of providing support through the program through to graduation from high school. If you are interested in volunteering or supporting the program in any way, please visit their website: https://www.rivercitysquash.org/.
